Welcome to the TitanBorn Dev Diary, a series dedicated to giving the community a behind-the-scenes look into the process of creating a game from the perspective of the game developers.
In Dev Diary #15, we’ll tell you all about what we’ve been building for the past 2 weeks:
- Crates, Boxes, Forklift Certifications
- Inventory
- Coming up next…
Crates, Boxes, Forklift Certifications
Season 2 is underway and hundreds of people are sitting around with their precious Loot Crate NFTs crying to high heaven: “What about our unboxerinos!????”
Dead silence. No answer. The universe is cold and uncaring.
You were thrust into it naked and alone.
Not alone. We are here with you. And we will face the horror of it all – together.
But there is one condition. You must remain, at all times and in all circumstances, positively silly.
Now lets talk about your crates.
As you can see, it’s all very chest-y. We are very pleased with how it’s all working and the flow of it all, and the system is ready for release. So, very soon you will be able to redeem your NFT vouchers for crates and open them. Showing off your TitanBorn bling will definitely be there for the next PvP event!
Don’t worry, at least 2 people in our team are forklift certified and prepared to deliver all the crates on short notice.
Little known fact, they worked as interns in Santa’s workshop. More on that another time.
Inventory
(New) gameplay is awesome and all but, as James Brown said “It wouldn’t be nothing, nothing, without a hammer or a boot”
Anyway, inventory is where all that stuff you unbox will go, unless you want a bunch of swords and hammers sitting around your kitchen.
Lovely, innit?
As you can see, right there on the left side – item stats. That’s another element of the whole system we are currently working on and that’s pretty much the only hurdle standing between you and your hard earned gear!
Coming up next…
We have plenty more to showcase in our Discord and on social media. In the meantime, keep playing the demo and giving us your feedback. That being said, here is what we plan to work on in the following two weeks:
- Item stats
- Balancing, maintenance, bug fixing
Hey, Season 2 is underway, what did you expect? Someone has to work to keep it all together, and it sure as heck ain’t you dear reader.
Unless it’s one of you guys from the dev team reading in which case very good job guys, you guys are awesome, keep it going.
Until then,
Game on, Titans!
