We’ve already introduced Hades and the inspiration behind him, but now it’s time to talk specifics – the complete move set. After reading this article, you will have a clear idea about what to expect from Hades and his fighting style. But before you dive into this new post, it might be worth reviewing the fighting mechanics and the special moves articles to be fully informed.
The Repertoire
Hades will have 15 total moves for you to practice on your opponents:
- 1 punch
- 1 kick
- 2 direction-punches (move + punch)
- 2 direction-kicks (move + kick)
- 4 combos
- 4 special moves
- 1 super move
Toxic Effect
All of Hades’ moves will have a toxic effect theme. Toxic damage works simply by applying an extra layer of damage on all of his moves. Hades is in a whole different league compared to common enemies; his poison will wreck you unless you block his attacks.
The Combo Moves
Out of Hades’ 4 combo moves, 3 are ranged attacks. As his opponent, don’t you dare relax even if it looks like you are winning. Hades will not go down easily and he has a long reach. Some combos will be harder to execute, while others will not be interrupted by damage.
The Special Moves
As we’ve said before, the rage meter will power all special moves. These are devastating moves, reserved for the late stages of the fight, or even as a finishing move.
The Super Move
If you make it this far, it means you rank among the mightiest of challengers Hades has faced in many decades. But he does not intend to lose. Watch out for this ranged attack. It may be a little slower than his others, but will hit you every time. Your only chance is to predict when it may strike and react quickly to block this incredibly accurate attack.
See you in Olympus!
